There is a hairdressing salon, which is open two days a week for
male and female clients. Perms and more elaborate treatments can
be arranged at other times to suit. Alternatively, should a client
prefer, their own hairdresser may come in.
The local library provides a regular service to the Home, changing
books very month. A wide selection of large print books is included.
Newspapers and sundries can be purchased from the neighbouring convenience
store and chemist and a small shopping service is organised daily.
A safe is provided by the Home for personal money or valuables if
clients.
Chiropody is available in the Home regularly. There is also a
visiting optical service and dentists. Other services can be arranged
as and when required.
